English lesson 1 : Simple Tenses

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera...aku dah lama fikirkan nak jadikan blog aku sebagai medium untuk pelajaran  tapi asyik tertangguh-tangguh...jadi kali ni,aku nak berikan korang tentang benda paling asas dalam Grammar;iaitu Simple Tenses.


Benda ni cikgu BI ajarkan kita daripada sekolah rendah sampai sekarang.pi mai pi mai tang tu jugak.tak dak benda lain dah.Simple present tense,past tense.Tapi,masalahnya kita ni sampai sekarang tak hafal lagi benda-benda camni.Walhal dah bertahun-tahun diberi benda yang sama.Tak ke pelik tu?

Maaf kalau terlebih sangat.Itu cuma permulaan sahaja.Ok,back to the topic.


Aku akan terangkan dalam dwi bahasa.


Simple Present Tense (perkara yang sedang berlaku).
Simple Past Tense (perkara yang sudah pun berlaku).

Simple present tense
How to distinguish (Cara nak mengenalinya)


Verbs (Kata kerja)
For single (he,she,it) => add s. eg: She plays netball
For plural (they,we)  => no s. eg: They play futsal


However,there is exception for single subject ( I and you)
(Walau bagaimanapun,terdapat pengecualian dalam saya dan anda)
eg:I play football/you play football


Words (perkataan)
Some of them change their spellings (for the single subject) eg: He tries to blackmail me (try => tries).This is easily noticeable.
(Sesetengah perkataan diubah ejaannya <= untuk satu subjek sahaja.Mudah untuk dikenal pasti.)


Verb to be
For single subject (he,she,it) => is eg:He is a futsal player
For plural subject (they,we) =>are eg:They are famous
For I => am (special case) .Eg: I am a student 
For you => are. Eg: you are a gamer

Simple Past Tense 
How to distinguish


Verb
Most verbs for this tense is the same .Uses the root word; just plus ''ed''
eg:played,gained,lied and etc...
Certain words change its spelling and pronunciation totally. Eg :went (go),held (hold)
Some of them change its spelling and pronunciation partially. Eg: forgot (forget)
Some of them remains the same even it is present or past tense. eg:cut,hit,put.


Verb to be
For I,he,she it => was. Eg: I was there
for you,they,we => were Eg:They were the best players
